About Valley Integrative Pharmacy

Valley Pharmacy initially opened its doors in 1967. The current owner, James Cammarata RPH, purchased the pharmacy in September 1990 and continued its operation as a traditional pharmacy.

In early 2014 we decided to completely renovate and convert to an integrative pharmacy. On March 13, 2014, we reopened as Valley Integrative Pharmacy and rededicated our mission to partner with our patients in their quest to achieve optimal health and wellness. As an integrative pharmacy, we incorporate traditional pharmacy medications with the functional, holistic treatment modalities that comprise current medical practice. This includes functional testing at VIP, which provides our practitioners with a clinical basis on which to recommend therapies for our patients. We also offer extensive prescription compounding services, addressing specific therapy needs for both patients and their pets.

Our professional staff includes traditional pharmacists, compounding pharmacists, certified pharmacy technicians, and certified clinical nutritionists. In addition, we have retained the services of a naturopathic physician and a homeopath for those patients who seek alternative therapies.

KIRSTIN NUSSGRUBER, CNC, EMB

Certified Nutritionist | Cancer Mentor | Speaker and Educator | Founder of Eat Holistic LLC | - As lead practitioner of our Wellness Center, Kirstin is passionate about proactive prevention getting to “root causes.” An empathetic cancer mentor, author and speaker Kirstin is passionate about helping people get out of “cancer overwhelm” by teaching them how to reclaim their lives. A two-time cancer survivor herself, she learned firsthand the importance of an integrative and functional medicine approach to one’s health to facilitate true healing. She also specializes in gut healing protocols and weight management.

NIKKI CONTE, PhD

Dr. Nikki Conte has been practicing naturopathic medicine for over 20 years since receiving her doctorate from Bastyr University of Naturopathic Medicine. She believes in addressing the whole person, not just the presenting symptoms or disease. Dr. Conte reviews your complete medical history and might recommend additional functional laboratory analysis to ascertain underlying conditions. She takes into consideration current health practices, beliefs, and the mental, emotional and environmental factors of her clients’ lifestyles. Customized modalities may include nutritional consult, therapeutic massage, homeopathy and botanical herbology. Her methods are complementary to conventional medical practice.

Joe Condora, Nutrition & Health Coach

Joe is a nutrition and health coach, author, and host of the top-rated health and wellness podcast "The Primal Example Podcast." Through his nutrition company, Primal Example, Joe coaches clients to optimal health using outside-the-box nutrition, movement, and simple lifestyle modification strategies. Joe's work at Valley Integrative Pharmacy and Wellness Center includes consulting, ordering specialty products, nutraceutical consults and workshops.
